Hock-Ice Fantasy Hockey Scoring System

In Hock-Ice, your players earn points based on their real-life performance in professional hockey games. Every move on the ice can impact your fantasy score. Here's how it works:

For Skaters (Forwards and Defensemen):

• Goals Scored: Every goal your player scores gives you a solid boost of points. Power play and short-handed goals earn even more.
• Assists: Helping set up a goal? That counts too! Each assist earns valuable points toward your team total.
• Shots on Goal: Aggressive players who take more shots give you extra points, even if they don't always score.
• Blocked Shots: Defense matters! Players who sacrifice their bodies to stop the puck earn bonus points.
• Penalty Minutes: Discipline is key — each penalty may cost you points. Smart players keep you in the game.
• Hits Delivered: Physical players who deliver clean hits give you a small point boost — strength counts.
• Plus/Minus Rating: If your player is on the ice when a goal is scored (or conceded), your score is adjusted accordingly.

For Goalies:

• Saves: Each save your goalie makes earns you points. The more pucks stopped, the better!
• Shutouts: A perfect game? That's a big bonus. Goalies who allow zero goals rack up serious points.
• Wins: When your goalie leads the team to victory, you gain additional points.
• Goals Against: Every goal your goalie allows reduces your score slightly — keep that net clean!
